Headwaters Academy has provided a perfect
blend of a challenging curriculum delivered through a caring environment.
My daughter has grown and prospered at Headwaters Academy. I am
always amazed and delighted by the caliber of the teachers and students
at the school. The caring nature of both groups is evident and therefore
the environment to learn is unparalleled. My wife and I feel very
fortunate to have a school like Headwaters Academy in our community.
TIM BARNARD
Our son David is in his second year
at Headwaters Academy. He really enjoys his small class sizes, the
safe environment, and the family atmosphere. David has made good
friends and is being challenged in all of his classes. He responds
well to the outdoor education program and extra curricular activities.
We are very pleased to have David attending Headwaters. GEOFF
& CANDACE HEATH
We push ourselves farther, drive ourselves
harder and work smarter. ROBERT LIN, alumnus of Headwaters
Academy
One of the great aspects of Headwaters Academy
is its small size. This creates a very favorable teacher to student
ratio and it also creates a wonderful integration of the entire
school community. There is something special in having Middle School
and High School students working, interacting, sharing, thinking,
and creating on a daily basis. This, combined with the variety,
commitment, enthusiasm and dedication of beneficial educational
community is created at Headwaters Academy. Headwaters puts time
and effort into the richness and value in the diversity of the individual
and in the strength of cooperation of society and community. Both
of my children have or are attending Headwaters Academy and their
lives and mine are enriched by the Headwaters experience. PETER
MCNAIR
Old fashioned community values are alive and well
at Headwaters. Students, parents and faculty share a variety of
activities in and beyond the classroom. Family participation is
encouragedbe it a pot luck dinner or chaperoning a ski trip.
In his or her own individual way, each person in the Headwaters
community truly contributes to the school. ANDRA SPURR
I continue to be impressed with the teachers:
they always seem willing to go the extra mile no matter the student.
They are a caring, talented group of professionals to whom we can
feel good about entrusting our children. DONNA WHITMAN
I like how the environment of Headwaters is
much more relaxed than that of a regular school. I also appreciate
the level of involvement that the teachers have with the students.
KARI BOWLES, Freshman, '02-'03
Headwaters is a really fun school. The homework
is always interesting and we never get busy work. Headwaters was
a turning point for me. I am confident that I can do anything in
life. ALICIA ARATHORN, student at Headwaters Academy
I like Headwaters Academy because it is not crowded.
The teachers are nice and know what they are doing. The extracurricular
activities are great. DUSTIN CROWSON, student at Headwaters
Academy
Headwaters Academy offers me a unique family-based
environment. When I need help, I am able to get it easily. Headwaters
is a school that does more than talk about helping students, and
that is something that is truly special. CAMERON ANDERSON,
student at Headwaters Academy
I enjoy the small class sizes, Outdoor Ed.,
Field Study Tours, and all the experiences I have received from
attending Headwaters. AMY THOMPSON,
student at Headwaters Academy
